To file online application for mutation of land in Odisha, the following steps should be followed.
- Visit the URL https://odisharevenueservices.nic.in

- Fill up Applicant details like :
Relation with the Recorded Tenant and Gender
If there is more than one applicant, enter their details in like manner.
4. Then enter your Present Address and Permanent Address. If both are the same, then put Tick ( ✓) mark in the box provided.
5. Enter Mutation type. There is a drop-down menu in this field. It provides Four options i.e. Sale purchase, Inheritance, Willnama, and Gift. Select the option which is best suited for your case.
6. Then enter Description of Property. Under this field:
- Select the name of your District from the drop-down.
- Then enter the name of your Tahasil from the drop-down.
- In the next tab, select the name of your mouza or revenue village.
- The name of the Revenue Inspector Circle and Police Station will be auto-selected.
- Enter the Khata Number.
- It is the number mentioned as Khatiyan Kramika No in your Patta. Select the plot(s) which you want to mutate.
- Enter the captcha and then click the SUBMIT button.
8. Then upload the documents like Registered Sale Deed, interim Deed,Willnama, Gift Deed, Death Certificate, Legal heir certificate.
9. Pay the requisite fee using your Debit Card/Credit Card/net banking.
10. Check the amount you need to pay and click "Make Payment".
It will redirect you to the Treasury Portal. Make the payment following the instruction and note down the Transaction ID.

Once the payment is made, you will get the Acknowledgement-cum-Payment receipt.11. You can check the payment status in the portal using the transaction ID if you do not get the receipt even after the amount is deducted.
12. Now the case will be visible to the Tahasildar in his login. You will receive an SMS(containing Case No.)once your case is initiated by the Tahasildar.
13. After the case is instituted, its status can be checked in the DWIST portal at https://dwistodisha.nic.in. Image Credit:NIC, Bhubaneswar
14. The RoR will be sent to your home through speed post. There is no need to visit the Tahasil office.
